Intermountain Title is a full-service title company and one of the oldest in Utah. Through the acquisition of seven established title companies, we have combined more than 165 years of expertise in title and escrow services, along with extensive title records. Intermountain Title is the successor to Utah Title, Home Abstract, Weber Title, Western States Title, Cundick Land Title, and Northern Title of Ogden. Our name was later updated to reflect a more contemporary identity and to represent our broad national involvement.

Our President and CEO, Michael T. Sumner, is a resourceful and forward-thinking executive who began his career in the title industry more than two decades ago while attending school. His leadership and vision continue to guide the company’s growth and commitment to excellence.

At the core of Intermountain Title is our dedicated team—our associates, who bring exceptional experience and expertise to every transaction. We take great pride in the strength of our staff, which includes a general counsel with more than 40 years of experience in title insurance and real property law, as well as a highly skilled team of long-tenured title and escrow officers.

As a member of the American Land Title Association and the Utah Land Title Association, Intermountain Title extends its services nationwide.
